Bayer and Tim Lovett of the BBKA

This propaganda video is so awful, and quite disgraceful that Tim Lovett from the BBKA is peddling his view about Varroa being the main problem for bees. Good beekeepers know very well that Bayer and the other agrochemical companies are poisoning the bees.

Many beekeepers don't use miticides and their bees are fine but they have no control over the ubiquitous use of field pesticides such as the neonicotinoid group.

Unfortunately the BBKA have been lobbying the powers that be along with Bayer and we are left with truly appaling policy that has huge implications for al life on the planet.

How do we address this problem when the very organisation that is supposed to protect bees seems to be so uncritical of Bayer?

I find this hugely depressing.
